Description
This substantial learning module will make sure you can determine the strategic direction you should take. Two pivotal tools are used; Portfolio Analysis and Supplier Preferencing. Portfolio Analysis is used to determine the type of sourcing strategy required. Analyzing a category in this way will allow you to determine where to focus your efforts. Supplier Preferencing is used to help understand how suppliers view our relationship with them. This 120-minute course comprises of 4 microlearning modules: a video explaining and giving examples of the use of the tool and an interactive eLearning module. You will learn how the two tools will be used in tandem to help you decide the strategic framework for your category as well as your approach towards individual suppliers to determine the way forward.
